Latest 2023-2024 USC Football Odds & Predictions
The available odds for games throughout the season are limited for some teams. However, a lot of big-time bookies have a multitude of lines you can start betting on now. We’ll look at available betting lines and season-long bets worth considering for Trojans fans.
Week 0 (August 26th, 2023): USC (-30) vs San Jose State | O/U: 63
Analysis: The Trojans kick off the season against a San Jose State team that is coming off of a 7-5 season, but they had a lot of pieces depart. The Trojans are the heavy favorite to win this game, but can they cover the large spread?
Prediction: USC -30, Over 63
The Trojans likely run away with this one early, and while San Jose State likely doesn’t produce many points, this could be a 50+ scoring outing for USC.
>> Bet on the Trojans winning over the Spartans at Bovada
Week 1 (September 2nd, 2023): USC (-38) vs Nevada | O/U: 63.5
Analysis: After a Week 0 game, the Trojans arrive in Week 1 with all rust shaken off. Unfortunately for Nevada, that puts a difficult matchup at an even bigger advantage. Nevada should take a step forward from last season, but this season opener for them probably won’t be pretty.
Prediction: USC -38, Over 63.5
This Wolf Pack squad went 2-10 last season, and while things may improve, it likely won’t be enough to withstand the Trojans. Expect USC to win this match and even cover this massive spread.
>> Think USC will win over Nevada? Place your bets at MyBookie
Week 7 (October 14th, 2023): USC (+1) at Notre Dame
Analysis: This is a surprising line as the Trojans seem to be a stronger team with higher expectations than the Fighting Irish, but it’s understandable. The Fighting Irish bring in Wake Forest QB Sam Hartman to help manage the offense, which could be a huge benefit and possibly keep this match up tight.
Prediction: USC ML
The Fighting Irish should be in for a good season, but they don’t have the offensive system to match a high scoring offense like the Trojans. Expect USC to pull off the “upset” here and win a big midseason battle.
>> Put your money on the Trojans winning over the Fighting Irish at BetOnline
Week 8 (October 21st, 2023): USC (-7) vs Utah
Analysis: This is a game the Trojans will be waiting for all season whether they admit it or not. Two losses last season that held the team back from playoffs they’ll no doubt hope for revenge. However, it won’t come easy as the Utes return plenty of key pieces including QB Cam Rising.
Prediction: USC ML
The Trojans knock off the Utes in what should be an absolute bloodbath. They avenge their two losses from last season and look to stay strong as they continue their pursuit of the playoffs.
>> Place your bet on USC to win its match against Utah at BUSR
Week 10 (November 4th, 2023): USC (-6) vs Washington
Analysis: Don’t be surprised if this game ends up the conference championship at the end of the season. Both teams have a lot of talent throughout their rosters, and so this -6 line for USC is going to be difficult to cover. This should make for a great game regardless though.
Prediction: Washington +6
Last season the Trojans ran into some issues against Oregon State with their tremendous defense. Washington has similar talent this year that could create some chaos and keep this game close. Expect a tight fought battle, and for that go with Washington to cover.
>> Think the Trojans can turn this around? Bet on them at Sportsbetting.ag
Week 11 (November 11th, 2023): USC (+3) at Oregon
Analysis: The Trojans are currently the underdogs heading into Eugene for a game with the Ducks in what should be a great offensive battle. QB Bo Nix could be a contender for the Heisman this season, and that should make for an exciting duel between him and Caleb Williams for this game.
Prediction: Oregon ML
USC is likely to have a slip-up somewhere along the line, and traveling up to Eugene to face a talented Ducks team makes sense. This should be a tight contest with plenty of fireworks. Mark November 11th on your calendars because you won’t want to miss this game.
>> If you think USC has what it takes to beat Oregon, bet on them ay Betanysports
Week 12 (November 18th, 2023): USC (-12) vs UCLA
Analysis: In the Trojans’ season finale, they host the Bruins at home in what could be a sneaky good game. The Bruins have a trio of potential QBs who could be starting this game depending on how their season is going, and Chip Kelly is bound to have some exciting stuff on offense.
Prediction: UCLA +12
The Bruins are a sneaky team in this year’s PAC 12, so while the Trojans will likely win this one, UCLA should keep it closer than the current 12-point spread placed on the matchup.
USC Win Total: Over/Under 10 Wins
Analysis: With a 10-win line, there is a bit more flexibility for the Trojans, which plays in the favor of over-bettors. The USC Trojans is one of the best teams in the country and it has the best quarterback in all of college football. While the team’s share of hangups may hold them back, they should be able to take care of a large part of their regular season business.
Prediction: USC OVER 10 Wins
The PAC 12 is going to be intense this year with some good teams on schedule for the Trojans, but expect them to handle business well enough to at least get to 10-2 for the regular season.

USC To Win The Pac 12: +220
Analysis: In a conference that features Washington, Oregon, and Utah as the main contenders, USC will have their work cut out for them if they intend to win the PAC 12 this season. However, their offensive firepower should be enough to give them a leg up over the rest of the competition and put them in position to be in the conference championship for a chance at taking home the title.
Prediction: USC wins the Pac 12
USC may run into some trouble along the way, but they seem like the best bet here for the PAC 12 and at +220 odds they are at least worth the value of placing a wager on.

USC To Make the College Football Playoffs: Yes (+245) / No (-350)
Analysis: An interesting line set on whether the Trojans can break into the field, but after being so close last season, they’ll be back for revenge. USC’s offense is going to produce, if the defense can take the next step and hold up in big games then the Trojans have a chance to finish the job.
Prediction: USC makes the playoffs.
This will come down to their ability to win the Pac 12 championship most likely, so if you have trust in the Trojans taking care of business there then expect to see them in the field of four. At +250 odds, it’s not a bad risk to take with a wager there way.

USC To Win The National Championship: +1300
Analysis: The Trojans were close to getting a chance last season, but fell in the PAC 12 championship and ultimately fell out of the field of four as a result. While they may have what it takes to make the playoffs, Lincoln Riley has yet to take the next step as a coach in finding playoff success, so the chances are slim.
Prediction: USC does not win the championship.
+1300 just isn’t good enough a return to bet on a team that likely doesn’t have the trench strength to hold up against the best of the best. A playoff appearance could happen, but Riley has some work to do for this program to get to the next level and potentially win a National Championship.
>> Think the USC will win the Championship? Place your bet at Lucky99
Caleb Williams To Win The Heisman: +550
Analysis: There has only even been one player to win back to back Heisman Trophies and that is Ohio State’s Archie Griffin. USC is going to compete offensively, but there is so much expectation and narrative that comes along with a Heisman winner that can make the award seem unattainable a second time around. Can Caleb make history?
Prediction: Caleb Williams wins the Heisman
Williams has the electric playmaking and surrounding talent to produce at a high level to where he has a great chance to repeat his successes. With so many big-time programs replacing their QB position, Williams could potentially prevail and return a big payday for those taking his odds at +550.

Recapping the 2022-2023 Trojans Season
After hiring Lincoln Riley, the former Oklahoma Head Coach hit the ground running overhauling plenty of the existing roster with numerous additions from the transfer portal including his former Sooner QB, Caleb Williams.
The addition was a massive success as the Trojans offense was one of the most high-powered units across college football last season and they rode them all the way to a blistering 6-0 start, and concluded the year 11-1 with a chance to compete for the PAC 12 title.
Sitting at the 4 seed in the CFP Rankings, the Trojans were in a win and in situation against the Utes before they ultimately fell in a 47-24 blowout, where Utah would go on to win the conference.
Still, there were plenty of positives to the season like QB Caleb Williams winning the Heisman Trophy, the team finishing the year 11-3, and a recaptured excitement for USC football that had been nonexistent in recent years.
Now the Trojans gear up for another run and this time their eyes are set on taking care of business. Which includes finding a way to win the PAC 12, get into the College Football Playoff, and attempt to win the National Championship. It’s a tall task, but it’s one that the Trojans won’t back down from.

USC’s Biggest Additions & Losses and Names To Watch
As far as the transfer portal goes, Lincoln Riley has prided himself on making USC one of the most active programs in adding talent through it. While the Trojans have some major departures that they’ll need to replace, they got some commitments from some immediate contributors to help reupholster the roster and attempt to make a run for the College Football Playoff.
Running Back: Marshawn Lloyd Adds To The Backfield Talent
Last season the Trojans kept a healthy balance in their backfield largely split between Travis Dye and Austin Jones. With Dye gone, the Trojans revisited the portal and added South Carolina running back Marshawn Lloyd.
Lloyd is a well-built back at 5’9 215 pounds which should help provide some strength as a runner. For the Gamecocks in 2022, Lloyd totaled 573 yards on 111 carries, with an additional 176 receiving yards. He also added 11 total touchdowns on top of that.
Jones will likely take the bulk of the carries, but with Lloyd and Raleek Brown providing some depth at the position.
Wide Receiver: The Trojans Revisit The Transfer Portal Well
One year after going and pulling one of the nation’s top receivers, Jordan Addison, from the transfer portal, the Trojans decided to rinse and repeat on this method. This time by going and grabbing from a conference foe, acquiring Arizona’s Dorian Singer.
Singer put together a phenomenal 2022 season for the Wildcats with 66 receptions, 1105 yards, and 6 touchdowns. He steps into the USC WR room with Brenden Rice and Mario Williams to help form one of the better receiver trios in the country.
Assuming he continues to play at the high level he did last season, Singer could use this season to propel his stock into being one of the top receivers in the country and potentially be highly touted by the NFL as a result.
Offensive Line: The Trojans Add Multiple Pieces To Replace 3 Lost Starters
The offensive line was a key piece of USC’s success last season. Unfortunately, they will be losing three experienced pieces from that unit in Andrew Vorhees, Brett Neilon, and Bobby Haskins.
To help re-add the unit, the Trojans added three key pieces in Wyoming’s Emmanuel Pregnon, Florida’s Michael Tarquin, and Washington State’s Jarrett Kingston.
Pregnon was viewed as one of the top players in the portal immediately once he entered with his high upside and intriguing blend of power and athleticism. He was a 1-year starter at right guard for the Cowboys and now arrives at USC, projected to start on the left side this season.
Tarquin and Kingston bring tackle experience to the team and could line up inside or out, depending on how the official depth chart shakes out. Both are expected to be full-time starters for the Trojans this season.

Defensive End: Replacing The Nation’s Top Sack Leader With Complete Overhaul
The Trojans were extremely busy in the transfer portal and there probably wasn’t an area they were more aggressive in than the defensive line. Last season, the line featured Tuli Tuipulotu who was absolutely dominant off the edge with 13.5 sacks.
With the rest of the line being a bit uncertain, USC went and added four high-end players from the portal in Arizona’s Kyon Barrs, Purdue’s Jack Sullivan, Georgia’s Bear Alexander, and Texas A&M’s Anthony Lucas.
Lucas is the main attraction of the group, as a top 100 recruit who transferred after one year with the Aggies. His skillset and athletic upside create an opportunity for him to be a high impact player on the outside to help replace the lost production from last season.
Guys like Sullivan and Barrs are also very nice depth additions who should start for their dependable play and quality interior rush play. If Alexander can capitalize on his potential too, then this USC line could be a huge problem for opposing offenses.
Linebacker: Two Proven Pieces Help Bolster The Defense
One of the more notable additions for the Trojans this offseason comes at the linebacker spot where Oklahoma State’s Mason Cobb joins the Trojans defense. Cobb is a 6’0 230 pound defender who tallied 96 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks last season. He should play a key role in the front seven to help improve the team’s run defense.
Aside from Cobb, the Trojans also bring in Jamil Muhammad from Georgia State to help add depth. Muhammad originally entered college as a QB, but made the move to the other side of the football and has recorded 6.5 sacks over the last two seasons. His arrival should provide some dependable experience and depth.

Guide to Betting on USC Football
When Does USC’s Season Begin?
USC’s season begins on August 26th when they host San Jose State at 8 PM EST. They are favored in this game by 30 points. This will be Head Coach Lincoln Riley’s second season with the Trojans.
When Does The College Football Season Begin?
The Navy will host Notre Dame in “Week 0” on Saturday, August 26th, at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, to kick off the 2023 College Football season. The regular season will continue until December 9th for the Army vs Navy end-of-the-regular-season rivalry match.
Do NCAAF Postseason Games Count Toward the Over/Under Win Total?
Postseason games do not count toward the over/under total when betting on win totals. So with the USC win total set at ten games, they’ll need to go 10-2 or better throughout the season. If they go 9-3 or worse, they’d be under the line set on them.
Who Will Play In The PAC 12 Championship?
The PAC-12 Championship will be played between the teams with the highest conference records at the end of the regular season. The conference had operated on the basis of division prior to last season, but changed for the 2022-2023 season. As a result, two teams from the South division in Utah and USC made the championship, where Utah won 47-24.
Bet on the USC Trojans for the NCAAF 2023-2024 Season
