Steve Mitchell talks to the legendary Scottish broadcaster and journalist Archie MacPherson about his book ‘Adventures in the Golden Age’ and also his experiences following the Scotland national team at World Cup finals from 1974 to 1998. Covering the likes of Billy Bremner, Jock Stein and Sir Alex Ferguson, Archie pulls no punches when recounting the drama and farce of reporting Scotland’s travails at national tournaments for the BBC and Eurosport.
