Latest Super Bowl Odds & Betting Lines

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently slight dogs at -1.5 points, but a spread that close basically reduces this to a “pick ‘em.”

Vegas thinks Philly is slightly better (as does the betting public, 60% of whom are favoring the Eagles), but no one would be surprised to see Patrick Mahomes hoist his second career Lombardi Trophy.

This is the type of spread that warrants constant vigilance. The slightest move in either direction could change how you should bet, so you should check lines frequently between now and kickoff.

Not only that, but stay by your phone for live betting opportunities as well. Things like injury updates, momentum-swinging plays, and the like can give you a fantastic opportunity to cash in before the rest of the betting public has a chance to react.

The over/under here is interesting as well. At 51.0 points, it’s below the combined averages of the two teams, both of whom put up nearly 29 points per game this season. Does Vegas think the defenses will show up in a big way, or that one of the QBs isn’t ready for the big stage?

Here’s a hint: if one of these QBs wilts under the bright lights in Glendale, it isn’t likely to be Mahomes.

Super Bowl Picks, Predictions, & Trends

It seems like everyone and their mother bets on the Super Bowl — 50 million people (or 25 million people and their mothers), to the tune of $16 billion annually. So how will you find the best bets and hidden values that everyone else misses?

By reading this section, obviously.

Mahomes Could Be the Bellwether

The Chiefs QB is 7-1-1 ATS as an underdog, which shows you two things: he’s not the underdog often, and he’s really good when he is. If the line still favors Philly at kickoff, consider fading the Birds.

Then Again, Mahomes Could Spell Doom for KC

While his record as an underdog is incredible, there are two other historical trends working against him: the fact that NFL passing leaders are 0-6 lifetime in the Big Game and that no NFL MVP has won the Super Bowl since 2000.

You would think that one of these stats would have to give — but we don’t think that’s necessarily true. It wouldn’t surprise us at all to see a late surge of public action on the Chiefs, which could push them into favorites territory.

If that happens, bet on them at your own risk.

Visit Bovada and find out more about the latest Super Bowl odds.

Whoever Controls the Ground Game Usually Wins

The team that rushes for more yards in the Super Bowl is a heavy favorite to win outright, as it’s 41-15 on the moneyline (and 39-14-3 ATS). If that’s the case, things look good for the Eagles, who own the league’s 5th-best rushing attack.

The Chiefs? They’re much farther down the list in the 20th spot.

Our Final Super Bowl Prediction

This is likely to be a close one, and when you can’t clearly tell who’s the better team, we generally favor taking the points.

However, too many of the betting trends seem to be going Philly’s way in this one. We’d recommend taking the Eagles and laying the points — and checking back right before kickoff as well, as we wouldn’t be surprised to see the line inch in Kansas City’s favor over the next few days.

We’d also take the over; these two offenses are just too high-powered to stay contained for long. Our prediction is that Jalen Hurts’ dual-threat capabilities allow the Birds to put one more score on the board than the Chiefs, to the tune of a 38-31 victory.

Bet on who’s winning Super Bowl LVII at BetOnline.

Why Is It Better to Bet on the NFL Super Bowl Online?

Online sports betting has become just as safe, if not safer, than doing it at an in-person casino.

Bookies such as BetOnline, Bovada, and MyBookie have strict procedures and adhere to rigid laws set forth by the given area’s gaming commission. All of our listed online sportsbooks are heavily regulated and have stellar reputations.

Easy to Use: Some people love being at an in-person casino sportsbook because they enjoy watching the games with others. For the rest of us, however, we like the freedom to enjoy the games however we want, be it with friends at a party or alone at the house.

Whatever your preference, it’s all available for you, thanks to online bookies.

Fast Payouts: There’s a myth out there with online sportsbooks that they have slow payouts. Not true. Most of our listed sportsbooks have several fast payout methods, some of which are instant. Many online bookies also have lots of crypto banking options for their users!

Guide to Betting On Super Bowl LVII

What Are the Latest NFL Super Bowl Betting Odds?

BetOnline has the Eagles favored by a point-and-a-half, and the over/under set at 51.0.

What Are the Best Super Bowl Props?

Props are one of the most fun ways to bet on the Super Bowl, and they range from who will score first to what color Gatorade will be poured on the winning coach. Our recommendation is to just have fun with them, but if you’re looking for some tips, consider:

  • WRs have scored the first TD of the game 44.6% of the time
  • Both of these teams prefer to avoid FGs if they can, so betting on the first score being a TD seems like a smart play
  • Country music superstar Chris Stapleton likes to stretch every note he sings — something to keep in mind if you bet on the length of the national anthem

Who is Likely to Be Super Bowl MVP?

The Super Bowl MVP is always most likely to be the starting QB for the winning team, so expect to see Mahomes and Hurts favored. However, everyone likes a feel-good story, so don’t be surprised to see someone like Chiefs TE Travis Kelce take home the prize if he has a big night in a victory.

Where Should I Bet On the Super Bowl?

For sheer reputation and fun, we strongly recommend BetOnline because it offers a great signup bonus of 50% up to $1,000. If you choose BetOnline, don’t forget to use promo code BOL1000 when you deposit.

Are You Ready to Place Your Bets on the NFL Super Bowl?

Now that we’ve dropped the numbers on you, you’re probably thinking of placing a bet. On that note, here are a few final thoughts on the current Super Bowl odds this season. If you are looking for the best site to use, make sure to check out BetOnline.

The line is so close that you won’t be making a major mistake by betting on either team. This game should be an instant classic, and having a few bucks on the outcome will make it all the more entertaining.

If it was our money, though, we’d place it on the Eagles and the over. All of the betting trends seem to favor Philly, and we think it’s time for Jalen Hurts to put his mark on the league — by beating Patrick Mahomes in a high-scoring matchup.

Who do you like in the game? There are no wrong answers — but if you’re planning to bet on the Super Bowl odds, make sure you gamble responsibly.

DISCLAIMER: As a rule of thumb, we always emphasize the riskiness of gambling and why it should never be seen as an activity to solve your financial problems. The saying “the house always wins” isn’t just a catchphrase as it should help shape your wagering adventure.

Are you suffering from a gambling problem, or do you know someone that does? If so, it’s crucial to call the National Gambling Helpline without further ado at 1-800-522-4700 to seek help from one of the numerous advisors. Speaking to these professionals is instrumental in making gambling a safe venture for you and your loved one. You also have to be aware that gambling sites and other related products are for those aged 18 and above.

Several casino sites listed in our reviews might not be available in your region. To this end, you might want to go through your jurisdiction’s local laws and rules to have an idea of online gambling’s legality.
