BARRY VENISON

venison

Here’s the king of the gawdy suits, former Sunderland, Liverpool and Newcastle man Barry Venison. Bazza started his career as a right back but eventually converted to be one of the foremost sideways passers of the early-mid 90’s in Kevin Keegan’s Toon midfield. After a string of literally three good performances, Venno, as he is not known by anyone, somehow managed to wangle himself two caps for England in 1995 under Terry Venables, as the cockney chancer prepared for Euro 96. Here’s Barry as we remember him…with his two haircuts for the price of one, perhaps in preparation for an audition to replace one of the fellas from Bucks Fizz.
