MARK WALTERS

walters

Although he looks like a member of 1980’s reggae beat-combo, Musical Youth, winger Mark Walters was more used to passing defenders on the left hand side rather than the ‘dutchies’ made famous by the aforementioned Birmingham band. Walters started his career with Aston Villa before heading up to Scotland to win a shed load of silverware with Rangers. He returned to England to play for Liverpool (ironic for a man with the middle name of Everton). Walters won just one England cap, as he found himself behind the likes of Chris Waddle and John Barnes in the international pecking order.
