BRIAN McCLAIR AND DAVIE PROVAN

mcclairprovan

Remember when players from the Scottish First Division didn’t even merit their own sticker like their English counterparts? Here is a perfect example of the form featuring two of Celtic’s finest from the early 80’s; Brian McClair and Davie Provan. The pair were two of the main attacking threats as their Celtic side fought with Alex Ferguson’s Aberdeen for domination of the Scottish game. Not bad for two blokes who look like they should have been the members of the band, Big Country.
