It’s time for another round of Premier League predictions. Fresh from their historic treble-winning season, can Man City break yet another record and grab their fourth consecutive Premier League title?
If you want in on the action, you need all the help you can get to make a winning bet. So here are our latest Premier League predictions, game analyses, and betting tips.
Premier League 23/24 Season Game 3 Predictions:
Chelsea vs Luton Town
Premier League newcomers Luton Town face a daunting task on Friday night when they head to Stamford Bridge to face the riches of Chelsea. The one advantage they have is that they had a rest week last week, with their home stadium still not ready for Premier League matches.
Chelsea have a richly assembled squad – but manager Pochettino is still working out his best XI. We think Chelsea should win this one but a solid bet might be to back fearless Luton to score over 0.5 goals.
Prediction: Chelsea 3 v 1 Luton Town.
Bournemouth vs Spurs
Bournemouth were a bit unlucky last week when they lost 3-1 away at Liverpool. They bagged an early lead and got done by a harsh penalty call. The pacy Semenyo caught the eye and we can see the Cherries taking the game to Spurs at home.
That said, Spurs will be jubilant right now after new manager Ange Postecoglu oversaw his first win last weekend over Man United. It was an efficient performance and there’ll be lots he’ll be pleased about.
We expect a close match at the Vitality stadium and love the idea of “draw no bet” for this one.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2 v 2 Spurs.
Everton vs Wolves
These two are arguably the Premier League’s poorest sides right now. They’ve both done barely any business during the summer transfer window, they both lack a goalscorer and they’re both currently sitting on minus points.
Wolves have actually created a gluttony of chances in their first two games this season but have only scored once. Everton haven’t scored at all and got thumped by Villa at the weekend.
We’re puffing our cheeks out here as we look for a winner but we think Everton will buckle under pressure at home in this huge match. Take Wolves to win or Wolves over 0.5 first half goals.
Prediction: Everton 0 vs 2 Wolves.
Man United vs Nottingham Forest
Man United have won one and lost one so far. They’ve scored just once, conceded twice – and easily could have dropped points at home to Wolves if the referee hadn’t overlooked a clear last-minute penalty for the visitors.
Forest certainly won’t let United settle at Old Trafford and will try to capitalise on the fact that, while United look okay, they don’t look spectacular at the moment.
The biggest question is whether or not Erik Ten Hag will give new striker Hojlund a chance. Even if he does, we can still see this being a low-scoring affair and like the look of under 2.5 goals.
Prediction: Man United 2 vs 0 Nottingham Forest.
Brighton vs West Ham
The Seagulls have carried on where they left off last season, picking up 2 wins out of 2 and sitting pretty at the top of the table. The Hammers have started the season well, too, and despite failing to sign a new striker, David Moyes guided his side to a terrific 3-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
So what can we expect here?
Fast, free-flowing attacking football from both sides is likely to be the order of the day. We expect Brighton to win narrowly and hotly tip both teams to score. Other than that, get on over 2.5 goals.
Prediction: Brighton 3 vs 2 West Ham.
Burnley vs Aston Villa
Burnley have only played one game so far this season, due to the fact that their away game last weekend was postponed because Luton Town’s ground doesn’t yet meet Premier League standards.
Vincent Kompany’s side will hardly have relished the two-week break, however, after losing their opening match and not yet having had the chance to atone.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, lost their first game 5-1 away to Newcastle before completely wiping out that negative goal difference after smashing Everton 4-0 on Sunday. They look good going forward, with many – including us – tipping them to have a stellar season.
We expect lots of goals at Turf Moor and see “both teams to score” as a very shrewd bet. We also think the Villains will nick it.
Prediction: Burnley 1 vs 2 Aston Villa.
Sheffield United vs Man City
The Blades have struggled to adjust to life in the Premier League so far and certainly won’t get any respite this weekend when they face treble winners Man City at home.
Man City have two wins from two and demonstrated last weekend that, despite selling Gundogan and Mahrez, as well as losing De Bruyne to injury, they’re still good enough to beat just about anybody in this league.
Once again, we see the likes of Haaland and Phil Foden being the difference makers and we think City will likely crush their Yorkshire opposition. Take City to win or bet on Man City over 2.5 goals for better odds.
Prediction: Sheffield United 0 vs 3 Man City.
Newcastle United vs Liverpool
We’ve seen some classics over the years between these two but the gap between Newcastle and Liverpool has rarely been as close as it is today. Newcastle can more than hold their own against the Reds – and they’ve even got enough quality to consider themselves as the favourites.
At home, Newcastle are not only tough to beat, they’re incredibly hard to break down. What Klopp’s Liverpool have in their favour, however, is an embarrassment of riches upfront – and we have a sneaky feeling they may just outscore the Toon.
We like the look of a rejuvenated Liverpool over 0.5 first half goals or Liverpool to win this one. Whatever happens, there will be goals.
Prediction: Newcastle 1 vs 2 Liverpool.
Arsenal vs Fulham
Like United, Arsenal have been solid so far, rather than spectacular. They’ve picked up two wins out of two games and Arteta will be pleased they escaped from Selhurst Park with a 1-0 victory after going down to ten men.
Last season, Fulham were the surprise package and Marco Silva will be hoping for more of the same this time around. However, despite keeping hold of Willian they had to let top scorer Mitrovic go to Saudi Arabia – and this will greatly reduce their firepower.
We think “Arsenal to nil” is a shrewd bet for this one.
Prediction: Arsenal 3 vs 0 Fulham.
Brentford vs Crystal Palace
Brentford v Crystal Palace is the second London derby this weekend. Both these sides had impressive seasons in the end last year, although it was Brentford who pushed on a lot more.
The Bees have already started this campaign well too, despite losing star striker Ivan Toney to suspension until January. Understudy Mbeumo has been tasked with stepping into Toney’s shoes and he netted twice at the weekend away at Everton.
Palace are dangerous and will once more try to breach their opponents on the counter. We think this will be an entertaining match and like the look over over 1.5 first half goals. Ultimately, we also think both sides will struggle to land the decisive killer blow.
Prediction: Brentford 2 vs 2 Crystal Palace.

Premier League Bets Explained
Win Singles
A typical Premier League game has three outcomes; a home win, an away win, or a draw. The most popular bet is a win single, which thousands of bettors use daily.
A win single is simply betting on a team to win. For example, if Tottenham were playing Arsenal and you backed Tottenham to win, you’d place a win single bet on a home win.

BTTS (Both Teams to Score)
BTTS is an acronym for both teams to score and is one of the most popular bets in the Premier League.
The bet is simple. Will both teams score? Yes, or no. You can bet either way. You may also find that bettors combine BTTS with other outcomes, such as BTTS and a win.
This can often result in better odds and bigger payouts.
Accumulators
Acca bets or Accumulators are defined by making multiple single selections in one bet slip, combining to create an accumulative bet.
Instead of a single-win bet, you are betting on multiple wins (or draws). All your selections must be successful for the bet to settle as a winner.

Bet Builders
Bet Builders are a recent in-vogue phenomenon, not just in Premier League betting but in sports all over the globe.
A bet builder is an accumulator that is restricted to one game. So, instead of picking multiple single-win bets, you mix and match different bets from the same fixture.
Examples would be
- Tottenham to win
- Son to score
- Cristian Romero to be carded
If all three events happen, the bet is settled as a win.

Asian Handicap Betting
This type of betting is usually more popular overseas in American sports. However, you can use it here on Premier League football.
Asian Handicap betting is when you bet on either team to start at an advantage or a disadvantage.
For example: West Ham (-1.5) vs Leeds United (+1.5)
In this scenario, if you choose West Ham to win with a handicap of 1.5, they will need to beat Leeds United by two goals or more for your bet to win.
The inverse is true if you select Leeds. They simply need to only lose by a goal or less for the bet to settle as a win.
Scoreline Betting
This type of bet is when you predict the scoreline of a game before it begins. There can be good value in scoreline betting, but it’s also notoriously one of the hardest wagers to nail.
It might be worth researching common scorelines, particularly between two teams. Consider looking into recent goal-scoring forms.

Goalscorer Betting
Goalscorer betting is when you predict who will score in a Premier League game. You can bet on a player to score first, anytime, or last.
First and last will naturally have better value as they are harder to predict. You will often find bettors putting anytime goalscorers in their bet builders.
Card Betting
This bet is where you predict what players will be booked. The term ‘booked’ is a catch-all term for either yellow or red cards. As always, researching a player’s or team’s disciplinary record is a good way to get some valid insight into this as a potential wager.
You may also want to note who a player is coming up against in a particular game. For example, if you have a left back prone to yellow cards, such as Luke Shaw, coming up against a dangerous right-winger who is often fouled, such as Bukayo Saka – you may consider placing a bet on Shaw to be carded.
Live Betting
Live betting is wagering after a Premier League game has started. Most bookmakers will adjust odds and allow you to bet on events as the games unfold.
If you think a team you’re watching is capable of a comeback, you might want to make a live bet on them scoring the next goal or maybe a punt to finish as winners.

Top Premier League Betting Strategies
1. Follow Proven Tipsters
It seems obvious, but the easiest and best strategy for betting on the Premier League is to follow tipsters with proven track records. After all, you must find somebody who’s managed a good ROI (return on investment) and simply copy whatever bets they make.
There are downfalls to this, of course. Firstly, any professional tipster worth their salt will charge for their services.
Are you prepared to pay for the best service? Remember, you don’t necessarily have to spend money to find good Premier League tips.
Secondly, even after you’ve found a seemingly good tipster and paid up to access their bets, there’s still no guarantee you’ll make a profit. It’s always best to approach this as fun before anything else.
2. Utilise Different Bookies
The number of bookies around today would make your Great-Grandad cry. Alternatively, he’d rejoice at how accessible betting had become. We don’t know. We don’t know your Great-Grandad.
The more bookies there are, the better that is for you. Different platforms will excel in different areas, and you’ll want to be registered at as many as possible to make the most of these differences. It just makes sense.
3. Make Use of Bonuses
Along with the explosion of online bookmakers, has also come with bonuses. Bonuses, promotions, offers. Whatever you call them, they’re everywhere and beneficial to you!
The biggest among them is the ‘welcome’ offer, which usually contains a free or risk-free bet. We’ve showcased some of the best available in this very article.
It makes sense to use all the platforms you can and hoard as many offers as possible. There’s no rule against it. Why not start with the websites on this page?
4. Use Betting Exchanges
A betting exchange is like a bookie without a bookie. There’s no ‘house.’ It’s simply a network, or exchange, of other gamblers who lay bets with one another.
But how do these exchanges make money then, we hear you cry. Instead of a profit margin built into odds like traditional bookmakers, they take a small percentage from each user’s bets.
This is why you’ll often find much better odds at exchanges than at regular betting websites. Many punters see it as a more advanced form of gambling. It’s certainly not for beginners.
5. Look for Value
A surefire way to be successful in the long term is to constantly look for value bets. If you take a value proposition and lose, you can still be buoyed by the fact that it was the correct punt.
So, how does one perceive value in a bet? Well, it’s not as magical as it sounds. It’s simply the idea that the traders (odds compilers) have overpriced a particular bet.
For example, you might find value in a Premier League bet where the traders have overpriced an underdog despite statistical evidence that supports it is a much more even match-up.
Remember, these aren’t guarantees. Nothing is. But they indicate where to find good profit if you’re looking properly.
6. Manage Your Bankroll
This is another simple tip that many overlook. Make sure you’re managing your bankroll properly.
Set yourself a budget, and don’t bet beyond it. Formulate how much you want to spend per bet. Most bettors do this by ‘units’.
You might feel confident enough to place two units on it for one bet. You may be less confident and will only risk half a unit.
A good starting unit is £10. But plenty of people have different units for different reasons. As long as you are happy to lose the money, then it’s fine.
7. Keep a Spreadsheet
This doesn’t have to be an excel spreadsheet with all the bells and whistles, but if that makes you happy, go ahead. We’re not going to stop you.
If keeping a spreadsheet of your bets, profit, and loss seems too labor intensive, consider keeping rough notes instead.
Whatever you do, keep a record. It’s easy to become ill-disciplined and start making silly bets without accountability.
