This shiny red piece of 80’s nostalgia was worn by the undisputed kings of British football between 1982 and 1985. This was the era when Liverpool EXPECTED to win trophies rather than just be hopeful of getting close to one. Managed during this time by Bob Paisley and Joe Fagan, the Reds boasted some of the finest players ever to grace the English game such as Graeme Souness, Kenny Dalglish, Alan Hansen and Ian Rush.
Made by Umbro, sponsored by Crown Paints, a similar design (albeit without the pinstripes and piping on the collar) was used by Everton and Scotland in the same period. A great kit for a great team.
