ADIDAS ORIGINALS TRAINERS - SPEZIAL ARGENTINA

I’m an Adidas man. Always have been, probably always will be. From my Adidas Kick and Rochester trainers in the late 80s, through the iconic Sambas in the 90s via the classic World Cup football boots, the classic three stripes have been a constant feature of my shoe cupboard from my teenage years to the brink of my 40th birthday.

The latest addition to my Adidas history are another fine pair of Adidas Original trainers from Infinities Menswear. The retro look suede navy/sky blue Adidas Originals Spezial Argentina are crafted from pigskin suede. The blue upper is complemented by a sky blue leather contrast heel trim and 3 stripes.  The trainer also includes the gold foil Spezial call out to the side, gold Trefoil print on the heel trim, gold Adidas print on the tongue and an angular dimpled gum sole unit carrying the famous Adidas branding.

Without wishing to sound too much like Alan Partridge describing his favourite leather driving gloves, the Spezials are stylish, comfortable and perfect footwear to go with the gentleman’s casual denims; whether down the boozer or on the terraces.
