Myth: England should have won Euro 2004

With the Euros being pushed back to the summer of 2021 due to the global pandemic caused by Coronavirus, many football fans have been annoyed that they are having to wait another year for the next major tournament. However, for England fans, we potentially believe that this might be a blessing in disguise and that the added time waiting for the next tournament might benefit their chances of lifting the Euros next year.

The first reason why we believe that this could be to the benefit of the England squad is that it allows more time for their youthful side to gel together and gain more experience in their respective leagues. Some of our star players like Sancho, Rashford, Grealish, Maddison, Alexander-Arnold and more are all seriously young and will be there first major tournament in an England shirt, so the added time allows them to get more experience under their belt.

Another blessing might be that this summer our squad was hampered by injury and fitness, for example, talisman and captain Harry Kane had been virtually injured from March onwards and was seriously struggling for fitness pre-Euros and going to a major tournament and Kane being half-injured isn’t a slight any England fan wants to see, especially with the danger he can pose to opposition defences.

Football fans and punters are now having to find alternative methods in which to bet this summer as the Euros were postponed and many have found themselves on the online casino markets, such as this list of Non-Gamstop Casinos. Many have found these casinos to be some of the best on the market due to the wide variety of games that they are offering alongside the sign-up bonuses that they are offering to all new customers. Max Casinos have ridden the wave of demand and even with the Premier League back in full swing now, the trend doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

In our opinion, the only thing that is potentially going to hold England back next summer is the lack of experience they have in both the team and management. As said previously, this is a young team, some of which haven’t played at the highest level and even though they might look to be good players, they have experienced what it’s like to play at a tournament yet. Also, with Gareth Southgate being the manager too, we aren’t sure if he’s is tactically aware enough to take this side to a Championship win.
