April 2016: Anthony Joshua vs Charles Martin
At 26 years old, Anthony Joshua would face off against IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin for a chance at his first world title. Joshua was 15-0 at the time as one of boxing’s up-and-coming stars, and he put on a performance to match the hype surrounding him.
Joshua showed control and dominance with his punches, quickly taking momentum over Martin, and many felt the fight was lopsided. Joshua showed off great power, knocking Martin down in the second round.
