Steve and Mark are back, this time looking at the month when it all kicked off big time in the English First Division. In what was later dubbed the Battle of Old Trafford, players from Manchester United and Arsenal engaged in a mass on-field fracas that led to the Gunners being docked two points and United one. Joining us to pick the bones out of the ugly confrontation and talk about how officiating the game has changed since are the referee that day, the highly respected Keith Hackett, and fans from opposing sides of the argument – Barney Chilton, editor of the Manchester United fanzine Red News, and author and journalist Layth Yousif, who has been following Arsenal for over 35 years.
